I really like going to the Ham Fair every year. There are lots of stalls where you can eat and drink all day long. Last year, my mum had conjunctivitis. And since it’s very contagious, in the end, it was just my dad who took us to the fair. But I had a great time!

One day, my parents went to the Ham Fair and they were wearing sunglasses. When the night was over, they took off their glasses and their whole faces were sunburnt. So remember to wear sunscreen when you come!

One day I was eating a sandwich at the Ham Fair, and one of my teeth fell out. I thought I had swallowed it, but the tooth was on the ground. We spent quite a while looking for it on the floor and on the plate, and in the end we found it near the table where we were sitting.

My grandfather made one of the first iron tables that were used at the fair. My mum and my aunt were also hostesses, handing out leaflets and helping people during the fair.

Every time I go to the Ham Fair, I go on the rides and eat a lot of ham. I love going because I always enjoy playing with my friends.

At the fair there are contests and often raffles. One time, my dad won a plate of ham shaped like a heart. And they also gave him a really long naroncha. We had a great time.
